La Posada, Latin American Chamber of Commerce

For 12 years, “La Posada” had been the main fundraiser of The Latin American Chamber of Commerce, Georgia.  Overtime, many other parties and fundraisers were launched and took up space in the calendars and checkbooks of traditional donors and businesses.

I worked for the LACC Georgia as a contractor specifically for this event.   I led a committee of volunteers and 1 staff person.   Some accomplishments in the first year included:

  • Re-launched “La Posada” with new positioning and tag line that reflected a more modern image and its unique value proposition not only for traditional donors but for small businesses, too.
  • Re-engaged donors and acquired 50% more supporters
  • Doubled attendance and exceeded revenue goal
  • Secured luxury and social magazine exclusive sponsorship
