Our Family “CEO” is also a great business woman
“One of the most interesting trends among Latina entrepreneurship is the rise of businesses with no paid employees – also called “non-employer businesses.” Over 93 percent of Hispanic women-owned businesses fall in this category. Most of these companies consist of people running small businesses from their homes, such as real estate agents, independent contractors and salespeople. These businesses represent true entrepreneurship” says The Blog @ Huff Post.
And this is true at the micro and local level. Bazar Latino, a production of “YoSoyMujer” the first social venture in Georgia dedicated to empower Latinas takes place this Thursday at the Norcross Arts & Cultural Center Ballroom. Over 30 women will be showcasing their services, products and crafts. We have over 20 people in waiting list.
Consider stopping by, meeting and supporting these courageous and creative entrepreneurs from 6-9pm. Entrance is FREE!
